Well, we have landed in St. Louis and are having a great time getting to know the city. Brad started school last week and on Tuesday I accepted a new job as a mortgage lender. I start in a week from Monday and will work downtown near the arch.
Some likes and dislikes of St. Louis:
Like: The FREE St. Louis Zoo! Most people say they love the penguins, but this family likes puffins! This guy was awesome, I hope this uploaded right so you can watch the video.
Dislike: Cicadas!!! No, they don't only come out once every 17 years. Bummer.
Like: Our apartment, more specifically the DISHWASHER and TWO bedrooms (This picture is just a teaser, more pics to come)
Dislike: Humidity. Frizzy hair and sweating like crazy when it is only 80 degrees outside, need I say more?
Like: Wi-Fi! Finally we have entered the 21st Century!

ReplyDeleteSo fun to hear about life in St. Louis! I remember hitting the zoo there on our way to Michigan when the heat wave was so bad it caused power outages for several days after we continued on our way. The penguin exhibit was definitely everyone's favorite that day!
